Lockdown will destroy Business

With the last round of force shutdowns, small businesses and even large ones, were already suffering and on the brink of collapse. A glimmer of light appeared as Australia seemed to have taken control of the Coronavirus, eliminating it’s presence in many states. However, it looks like there is more pain to be had for small businesses with the huge spike in Coronavirus cases in Victoria and the increased number of cases around the country.
Victoria has now entered a 6 week level four shutdown which means all but a few types of stores will be forced to close their doors and only able to offer click and collect type shopping. Even Bunnings stores that were able to stay open during the last round of shutdowns is now only able to open for tradies and not the general public.
Hairdressers are another industry that has been shut down that wasn’t shut down previously. Books have been popular during shutdown with many turning to reading to pass the time. Local book stores have been able to offer click and collect book sales but continue to compete with big international retailers like Angus & Robertson. Use a Angus & Robertson coupon to save on your purchase.
Online shopping in general is expected to sky rocket again as it did during the last lockdown with many having few options but to shop online. Online shopping has managed to keep many businesses ticking along without drowning.
